The parish held Trunk or Treat in the parish parking lot on October 20 from 12 Noon to 3 PM. Fr. Joe gave out the bags and the initial treats, which included a small plastic Madonna and a St. Joseph’s key ring.
This was our fourth year in offering this as an alternative to an indoor Halloween party.
This is a great event even if you do not have children. Those who like to give out treats, park their cars and decorate their trunks.
Children walk from car to car receiving their treats. We also had a pumpkin patch, costume contest, cider and games.
It is a free event but it takes many people to make it happen.
If you missed it, consider getting involved next year… we DARE you!
